Proudly moving into 2014, Ford has eagerly announced it’s new 2015 Ford F-150 model to the demanding truck market. As any truck owner knows, the value of their vehicle is the sum of it’s parts, with the weakest links defining the quality of performance that they can expect. This year, Ford’s automotive engineers have set the bar high, introducing several game changing spec’s that will leave you anxiously awaiting the arrival of the new F-150.

Leaving no stone unturned, Ford’s engineers started from the frame, upgrading to a cutting edge High-Strength Steel Alloy. With eight-cross sections and cutting-edge roll-forming material technology, this new frame promises a superb, weight efficient foundation for the new model. This upgrade allows the new frame to withstand higher loads and stress without compromise. Now you can pull more, farther with astonishing reliability.

Continuing to the body, Ford chose a high-strength, military-grade aluminum alloy. The new 6000 – series Aluminum Alloy body is now 700LB lighter than the 2014 model allowing timely stops, faster acceleration, and high corrosion resistance, all with a tasteful touch of improved fuel economy. Furthermore, the new alloy is highly recyclable, eliminating material waste in assembly lines.

In the 2015 model Ford has introduced the EcoBoost 2.7L V-6 and EcoBoost 3.5L V-8. This new EcoBoost technology boasts uncontested potential, allowing 420lb of torque nearly throughout it’s entire RPM band, while increasing fuel economy giving it the powerful performance of V8 with the wallet friendly fuel efficiency of a V6. This is made possible by the new Twin Independent Variable Camshaft Timing (Ti-VCT) which automatically regulates intake and exhaust independently for optimal performance and the EcoBoost engine’s desirable low-end torque.

Lastly Ford’s engineers have incorporated a 4-way camera allowing the best road-awareness and making ease and safety of operation rival those of premium luxury cars. New strong LED lights have been cleverly installed, giving perfect visibility at any time of the day at the touch of a button. Inside and out, the new Ford F-150 fails to compromise, setting a new standard for trucks.

With so many improvements on the 2015 F-150, Ford engineers have eagerly jumped into testing each aspect of the new truck before introducing a vehicle to the market. They conduct several rigorous torture tests to exert maximum stress on the engine to assure “BUILT FORD TOUGH” quality. Such tests include revving engine for weeks at a time, during extreme temperature conditions, under large loads, up steep slopes. The Ford F-150 endures every grueling task, seemingly effortlessly.
