The very popular Ford Explorer was instrumental in turning the SUV from merely a special interest vehicle into one of those most popular types of vehicles on the road. While there are not a huge number of changes for the 2014 model year, we will cover the major updates in this blog article.
Changes to 2014 Model Series:
The same model series will be offered as the 2013 year model year, Base, XLT, Limited and Sport.
Exterior Changes
There will be some color change ups. Sunset Metallic and Dark Side Metallic will join the color line up. Ginger Ale Metallic and Green Gem Metallic will be making an exit for the 2014 model year.
Auto Headlamps will now be standard on all series.
Interior Comfort:
Second row heated seats will become standard on the Limited Series Explorer for 2014!!
