With thanksgiving around the corner, we thought we’d take a break from all the car talk and focus on the holiday in front of us. This morning, one of our customers was talking to us about how he plans to deep fry his turkey. While deep frying a turkey is fairly common, it got us thinking about some stranger dishes for the thanksgiving table. Here are five of the weird ones. What are yours? Leave us a comment!
1. Turducken- Turkey stuffed with duck, stuffed with chicken, stuffed with stuffing.
2. Churpumple- Along the lines of Turducken, Churpumple is a cherry, apple and pumpkin pie that is cooked into three different types of cake.
3. White Castle Stuffing – A turkey stuffed with fast food hamburgers? Not so sure about this one. If you are curious, check out the recipe
4. Turkey and Gravy Soda – Although it is not a main dish, it still made our list. What better way to wash down turkey and gravy, than with turkey and gravy. This was once part of the Jones Soda holiday pack.
